B2B Marketing Specialist Remote, US Only Full Time

Employee financial stress is a growing problem for employers to manage and SmartPath takes the weight off HR by providing a comprehensive, low administration solution designed to meet employees where they are. SmartPath drives awareness to employers via marketing events, as well as direct account based marketing.

As a B2B Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for leading and contributing to projects that drive revenue growth. The B2B Marketing Specialist will report directly to the VP of Sales and Business Development and will be responsible for the development and management of broad-based B2B marketing programs, implementation and results. This person will manage marketing efforts for brand position and awareness. They will manage lead generation, web site development and content curation/creation and sales collateral. This high-impact role will work across functions and interact with clients, vendors and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, coordinating, and maintaining marketing activities to ensure alignment with strategy, brand, and company goals
  • Have knowledge and expertise in online marketing platforms including Adobe Creative Suite, HootSuite, Mailchimp, Google AdWords, and Google Analytics
  • Hiring/outsourcing and managing the performance of marketing teams that may include a PR (agency) and creative staff. Responsible for communication of project goals, managing timelines and adhere to budget and project goals
  • Marketing automation platform management and data analysis
  • Responsible for writing content, press releases, newsletters, and video creation
  • Managing the design and production of promotional materials, brochures, articles, and newsletters. Collaborating on website design
  • Managing the marketing schedule, workflows, priorities, and performance reporting
  • Managing and updating digital and social content
  • Building targeted audience campaigns based on email behavioral data and CRM attributes
  • Assisting in comprehensive management of marketing campaigns and events, including planning, management, execution and strategic direction
  • Managing email campaigns and calendar through the development process, working with various cross functional teams to ensure proper execution of email marketing strategies and plans
  • Tracking and reporting on all campaigns
  • Build strategy and make recommendations on segmentation and targeting, including submitting creative briefs, creating content, building templates and supporting all forecasting, budgeting and analytics
  • Analyzing, recommending and negotiating marketing and sales event opportunities
  • Stay on top of industry trends/best practices, technologies and competitive landscape
  • Regularly set goals and plans on a strategic level
  • ABM marketing campaign management

Job Skills and Qualifications:

Required:

  • Education: BA or BS degree required
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a marketing role with increasing responsibility
  • Strong decision-making, prioritization and organizational skills are required
  • Experience coordinating multiple complex projects from conception to completion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Zoom
  • Experience working with email marketing softwareBasic knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., : Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Ability to compile, analyze and present data
  • A passion for helping Main Street families gain financial courage and confidence

Preferred:

  • Experience with ABM marketing campaigns
  • Experience leading the development of KPIs
  • Experience with HR and benefits
